On the morning of 16 September local time, President Xi Jinping met with Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif at Forumlar Majmuasi Complex in Samarkand.

President Xi pointed out that China and Pakistan are close neighbors linked by mountains and rivers and with a shared future. The two countries have all along stood with each other through thick and thin. No matter how the international situation evolves, China and Pakistan are always each other’s trustworthy strategic partners. China will work with Pakistan to advance their all-weather strategic cooperative partnership and accelerate the building of a closer community with a shared future between the two countries in the new era.

To promote the economic and trade exchanges and cooperation between China and Uzbekistan, on the afternoon of September 12, the "2022 China-Uzbekistan Leather and Shoemaking Industry Cooperation Conference And the Invitation Ceremony of the Guest Country of China (Wenzhou) Int’l Leather, Shoe Material & Shoe Machinery Fair" was successfully held at the Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in China. More than 50 attendees, including leaders from the relevant government departments in Beijing, Wenzhou, and Uzbekistan, representatives of the related international institutions, organizations, industry associations, enterprises, and media partners attended the meeting. On the occasion of the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between China and Uzbekistan, they met in Beijing to focus on the leather and shoemaking industry. 

The Embassy of the Republic of Uzbekistan in China will attend the 27th China (Wenzhou) Int’l Leather, Shoe Material & Shoe Machinery Fair as the guest country of honor. And the representatives of relevant Uzbekistan institutions, industry associations, and enterprises will also participate.

The successful holding of this event has not only played a vital role in promoting the international popularity and brand influence of China (Wenzhou) Int’l Leather, Shoe Material & Shoe Machinery Fair, but also helped to expand the business cooperation between China and Uzbekistan in the leather and shoemaking industry.
